Over the years, the company has undergone a transformation becoming part of a European multinational group with offices in France, Great Britain, Spain, Germany and the Netherlands; the structure has also expanded thanks to the contribution of professionals in the field.

The free movement of pharmaceutical goods in the European community allows to obtain more competitive prices, crucial for encouraging therapeutic innovation and ensuring the well-being of patients. At the same time, it is necessary to reconcile these priorities with the aim of favouring the control of public health expenditure in the member states of the European Union.

Since 2006 Medifarm has decided to deliver the first European distribuction products on the Italian market, thus helping to ensure an economic advantage for the (Italian) National Health System and better profit for pharmacists.
